After years of negotiations and plan amendments, property developer Carbonleo has confirmed the return of the Four Seasons hotel banner to downtown Montreal, as part of the De La Montagne quad project for which Lemay and Sid Lee are the architects. Attached to the Ogilvy/Holt Renfrew store (which will be renovated top to bottom), the 18-floor project will boast three restaurants, expansive terrasses and a 6,000-square-foot ballroom. The 163-room hotel and 18 high-end condominiums will be among the city’s most luxurious ever.
