A work of art unique to Montreal’s Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau International Airport

Blog November 9, 2016
Did you know? The international jetty of Montréal-Trudeau* is recognized for its numerous works of art. Lemay senior associate Michel Hardy describes the idea behind a colourful, innovative tribute to flight: “Nuée de verre” by Atomic3. This series of triangular coloured and transparent panels is a nod to the metropolis’s great stained glass windows and uses colour and movement to convey a sense of flight in keeping with the airport’s role. The piece demonstrates willingness on the part of the new space’s designers and Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) to create a unique and memorable experience for visitors to Montreal, showcasing the city as a vibrant and welcoming urban innovator.
