With entries from over 100 countries, the Architizer A+Awards are said to represent the best of architecture worldwide.
This year’s jury of architects and designers, cultural thought leaders, developers and other creatives chose to honour two Lemay projects with the “unparalleled honor” of the Jury Winner title.
Lemay’s head office design for international lighting solutions provider Lumenpulse in Longueuil (QC) won in the Commercial – Factories & Warehouses category, with its unique and customized multifunctional environment that embodies Lumenpulse values of innovation, collaboration, communication and transparency. The award-winning project is a showcase for Lemay’s integrated transdisciplinary services in architecture, interior design, graphic design and urban planning.
A second Lemay project, the already much-awarded Lévis office of Quebec construction leader Pomerleau, in turn won its own A+Award in the Commercial – Office – Low Rise (1-4 Floors) category. Also a model of architectural branding, the project is an innovative response to several environmental constraints and the client’s desire for a healthy, collaborative workspace, as well as the culmination of integrated Lemay services in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, sustainability, urban design, urban and master planning.
The Architizer A+Awards is the largest awards program focused on promoting and celebrating the year’s best architecture and products. Its mission is to nurture the appreciation of meaningful architecture in the world and champion those products that are integral to bringing great buildings to life.
