Brossard’s Mayor, Doreen Assaad, has unveiled the first images of a future city centre to the press: A large-scale project designed by our teams that promises to transform the city’s landscape with a unifying built environment.
Based on the principles of inclusivity, sustainability, greenery and mobility, this new urban concept will provide residents, workers and visitors alike with renewed access to a wide range of services and sources of culture.
“Lemay is a well-known and reputable design firm that has been able to put what we envisioned into images and words,” the mayor said during a press conference.
Connected to the REM’s Panama station and featuring an active design for pedestrians and cyclists, the city centre’s intelligent, green and distinctive urban densification strategy will also revitalize Taschereau Boulevard with inviting space on a human scale.
