A unified workplace for integrated technical expertise
The Acuren Hub is a nearly 100,000 sq. ft. facility that brings together offices, laboratories, training areas, and warehouse functions within a single, clearly organized workplace. Its design elevates the industrial building typology by emphasizing clarity, daylight, and spatial quality for technical and field-based teams.
Located on an 8.96‑acre site in Sherwood Park, the building’s contemporary façade of precast concrete, extensive glazing, and vertical fins creates rhythm, depth, and a refined industrial identity. A bold graphic element marks the main entrance and establishes a distinct sense of arrival.
Transparency shapes the ground floor. Generous glazing along shared spaces creates strong visual connections to the surrounding site and introduces a more welcoming public presence. The entry sequence is direct and intuitive, leading to a reception area that combines durability with a calm, professional character. Interiors focus on flexibility and comfort. Office environments support a variety of work modes through open collaboration zones, meeting rooms, and shared worktables. A neutral and robust material palette is enriched with wood accents, textured surfaces, and considered lighting to bring warmth to team spaces and staff amenities.
Warehouse and operational zones are designed for efficiency and adaptability, supported by clear spans, high ceilings, and streamlined circulation. Visual connections between office and warehouse areas enhance operational awareness while preserving safety and functional separation.
The Acuren Hub offers a contemporary model for industrial workplaces by pairing durability and performance with comfort, daylight, and architectural presence. It demonstrates how a complex technical facility can support high‑performance operations while maintaining a strong sense of spatial quality.
