Shining a spotlight on the new face of Mont-Sainte-Anne

As part of Les amis du Mont-Sainte-Anne’s plan to make Mont-Sainte-Anne an engine for its region’s economic growth, Lemay developed an approach that would strengthen its reputation as a premier destination in Eastern Canada while reprogramming it for climate resilience and longevity. The resulting concept is an ambitious and revitalizing vision for the four-season setting, focused on the quality of the users’ experiences with its internationally recognized recreation and touristic activities, landscape innovations, and sustainable development. Mont-Sainte-Anne is a place of unique natural beauty that combines the tranquility of hiking forested trails and camping with the adrenaline of skiing through hundreds of acres of wintry terrain, offering all kinds of different experiences to visitors.

The strategic plan curates a comprehensive experience that embraces local resort trends and includes the integration of a marine shuttle to link the site to Quebec City and its surroundings. New trails will be inaugurated and connect to those already existing in and around the park, such as the Route Verte, the Mestachibo Trail or the Pilgrim’s Trail which links the three peaks of Mont-Sainte-Anne Park in a 40-kilometre loop of canyons, bridges, and verdant belvederes. Crowning the mountain, the Chalet de la Crête will be transformed into a 360° lookout point offering breathtaking views of the park and the surrounding region via accessible gondolas.

With its proximity to urban centres rich in culture and history, the mountain will provide year-round accessibility to families and professional athletes alike to come play, discover, connect and explore everything it has to offer.
