A landmark and a destination
On the St. Lawrence riverbank, a large wharf has been transformed by Lemay into a signature public event space for the City of Lévis. A welcome area for cruise and Quebec City-Lévis ferry passengers, the new recreational destination recalls the industrial past of Lévis. A monumental fountain and a series of ground-level water features are the principal attractions.
The main fountain is visible from the opposite shore, while bubbling water displays along the surface offer a playful space for visitors’ enjoyment. Lemay’s Paquet Wharf redesign is functional, inviting and spectacular all at once.
