Quality, flexibility, efficiency and innovation

Lemay’s integrated design for this international business logistics supply chain leader offers a thoughtful and stimulating mix of industrial heritage, corporate identity and optimized, welcoming workspaces, with a contemporary twist.

Showcasing Lemay architecture, interiors and graphic design, the heart of the new head office is the hub: a central, irregular space dedicated to people and knowledge-sharing, with an auditorium, cafeteria and library. The hub both separates and unifies two distinct work areas, its titian tones symbolizing the sunset over the Canadian Prairies, from where much of Ray-Mont’s cargo originates.

The company’s essence underpins the inspiration behind the design, offering up a clean and refined corporate image that communicates Ray-Mont values of quality, flexibility, efficiency and innovation. The project also embraces the client’s industrial vocation and the character of the historic Le Nordelec (once Canada’s largest industrial building, recently redeveloped by Lemay), maximizing views of what was once the industrial heart of North America: the picturesque Lachine Canal and Old Port.
