Dynamic art and design for nature-inspired learning hub

This project involved the design of learning space typologies in reimagining the University of Alberta’s downtown hub for continuing and professional education, the Faculty of Extension.

The goal was to transform the second floor of downtown Edmonton’s Enterprise Square, an existing heritage building, into a 25,000 sq. ft. world-class teaching environment, strengthening the university’s ties with downtown businesses, arts and cultural communities while contributing to broader downtown revitalization efforts. The award-winning, light-filled environment features focused study areas and diverse learning spaces, each one hosting multiple functions to accommodate different learning styles.
