His design process combines exploratory research, sustainability, collective well-being and user health

After starting his career in London and Paris, Antoine Buisseret spent 18 years as Design Director and Senior Partner of a large French firm before moving to Canada. He has led the design and development of major hospital projects in France and internationally, including the Kiev Children’s Hospital, the Clermont Ferrand University Hospital and the Pitié-Salpêtrière Neurology Center, as well as major mixed-use, office and research projects.

Antoine brings with him his experience with exploratory platforms such as #hôpitaldufutur, of which he is a co-founder, which leads prospective reflections on the challenges of building the hospitals of tomorrow. His involvement in research on care environments feeds his design of inclusive, safe and sustainable living spaces. He is also vice-president of the Union des Architectes Francophones pour la Santé (UAFS), of which he formed the Quebec branch that brings together key players in the health sector in the province.
