As we look to the new year with renewed optimism, we’re happy to announce that three designers from Lemay—Andrew King, Grace Coulter Sherlock and Antoine Buisseret—will be speaking at Toronto’s 2023 Interior Design Show running from Thursday to Sunday, January 19 to 22.

On Thursday, January 19th, 1:30pm EST

Antoine Buisseret will be the first to speak with architects Karine Quigley and Matthew Hickey for the seminar Design for Health: Past and Future Strategies. They’ll discuss the ways in which healthcare design is evolving, outlining the positive steps that can be made moving forward in the field from medical institutions to acute care facilities.

On Thursday, January 19th at 3:00pm EST

Grace Coulter Sherlock will address climate change and social responsibility with the talk Adaptive Reuse: What is it, what does it look like, & where is it headed. Alongside architect Mikael Sydor, entrepreneur Adam Corneil and landscape architect Rui Felix, she will be showing work that’s leading the way in this essential method of architectural design.

On Friday, January 20th at 9:30am EST

Representing the applied design research of FLDWRK, Andrew King will be exploring the growing trend of embedding incubators, think tanks and internal labs into architecture practices with Jamie Miller of Biomimicry and Caelan Tats of McKinley Studios for the seminar Incubators, Think Tanks & Internal Research Labs: What’s the ROI?

Join Antoine, Grace and Andrew for their talks, and get 20% off when buying your tickets with the promo code SPEAKER20IDS on IDS’s website.
