We are extremely proud of the talented transdisciplinary team behind the new Espace 67 at Parc Jean-Drapeau! Our project earned a Architecture MasterPrize for Public Landscape Architecture.

The team transcended project objectives with this experiential space’s grand and human-scaled gestures, inspired by the site’s genius loci: a picturesque urban park, lush indigenous forest and, of course, its landmark event: the century’s most successful World’s Fair (EXPO 67). The work accomplished via landscape and building architecture, urban design, brand image and signage created a unique venue showcasing stunning city, river and landmark views.

The strategy for the revegetation of the sector consolidates its natural character while drawing inspiration from it. Planting areas are optimized to promote the growth of the vegetated cover, maximizing shade and coolness for the benefit of the site’s users. In addition, the layout of the vegetated areas meets the needs of crowd management and public-event vision for the site.

Congratulations to the entire team!
