New maternity ward for Canada’s largest mother and child hospital

The new Mother and Child unit at Sainte-Justine University Hospital in Montreal received extensive news coverage by La Presse, Radio-Canada and TVA nouvelles after officially opening last week. The Lemay project offers spaces as pleasant as they are functional and fully adapted to modern medical standards.

Carried out by Lemay in consortium with the firms JLP, BGLA and DMG, this first phase of redevelopment and modernization creates brighter spaces that are more private and comfortable for families and hospital personnel.

These new areas have been set up in the older part of the hospital, where Lemay rose to the considerable challenge of offering the same design standards as in a new building.
