Did you know that more than half of humanity now lives in a city? Urban civilization is undergoing unprecedented change, and we must act now to mitigate the biodiversity crisis.
To start finding solutions, we will be holding a roundtable discussion entitled Reintegrating Biodiversity in the City, a Utopia? as part of Net Positive Day on Wednesday, September 14.
The event will be presented in French both in the Phénix agora, at our Montreal office, and on Zoom from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. A wine and cheese formula will be available for those attending in person!
The discussion will be moderated by Hugo Lafrance, Partner – Sustainable Strategies at Lemay and will include:
- Isabelle Bérubé, Director of Development, Nature and Parks Society;
- Emile Forest, General coordinator and gardener at Nouveaux voisins;
- Alexandre Beaudoin, Biodiversity Advisor for the Sustainable Development Unit (UDD) of the University of Montreal; and
- Ariane Malo Sauvé, Landscape Architecture Designer at Lemay.
