Creating original moments and destinations to reflect the mission of a company offering extraordinary travel industry experiences
Innovation and flexibility are the key ingredients in the formula of Plusgrade’s workspace redesign, one developed to meet the employees’ needs at this young company headquartered in Montreal.
The company’s clear mission and geometric logo were the main inspirations for exploring creative avenues and adding new functions, making each workspace more user-friendly while fully utilizing existing offices’ neutral canvas.
Whether in new collaboration areas, redesigned meeting rooms, or the hybrid reception area and bistro space, the revamped headquarters offers its users destinations, experiences, and elements of surprise. Each space is clearly defined and accentuated by colours, as well as a judicious integration of architectural elements and lighting effects.
The use of blue and orange—the two dominant colours of Plusgrade’s brand image—creates a striking contrast when these hues are superimposed on the black and white grid that serves as the basis for the space design. The concept also includes a partitioning shelf and interactive wall designed as part of the signage mandate; these elements invite Plusgrade team members to take ownership of the space by personalizing it with photos, trophies, and souvenirs. In addition to making the space more dynamic, these objects serve as milestones in the company’s history, which has offices around the world.
