They’ll share their insights on sustainable and community-based design to advance architectural quality and innovation in the healthcare sector.
A must-attend event in France, where it was created, as well as in Belgium, the Journées de l’architecture en santé (“Design in Healthcare Conference”) will be held in Montreal for the first time on Tuesday, June 11 and Wednesday, June 12, 2024. With the purpose of fostering critical thinking around hospitals design, the JAS offer a rich program of conferences, workshops, and facility visits to healthcare professionals, architects, and engineers from across the French-speaking world.
As dedicated advocates of the sector’s sustainable transformation, our colleagues Jean-François Gagnon, Loïc Angot and Antoine Buisseret have been invited to share their expertise at two conferences taking place at the Science Centre this Wednesday:
- The future Regional Hospital Centre of Eeyou Istchee: a design rooted in the territory and the culture of the Cree Nation
Presented by Jean-François along with Julie Boucher (Jodoin Lamarre Pratte), Pascale Tétrault (Figurr) and Bertie Wapachee (CCSSSBJ) | 2:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
- The Regenerative Hospital: reconciling carbon neutrality and quality of care
Presented by Antoine and Loïc | 4:05 p.m. to 4:25 p.m.
Well done to Loïc, Antoine and Jean-François for this wonderful recognition of their work!
