Lemay now ranks as the world’s 36th largest architectural practice in the world, according to the newly released Building Design’s WA100 list.
In addition to place 36th place worldwide and the second largest in Canada, these are Lemay’s complete 2023 rankings:
- 7th place for elderly living
- 9th place for heritage
- 10th place for infrastructure
- 8th place for transport
- 1st place in landscape architecture
- 4th place in environment
- 9th place in planning
- 3rd place in facilities management
- 9th place in urban design
- 4th place in surveying
- 5th place in product design
A leap from the 41st place in 2022, this signals our growth as a firm, but more importantly it demonstrates a greater capability to share the work of Canadian designers with the rest of the world.
Since we first began appearing in WA100’s rankings in 2016, the firm’s position has gone up with each passing year:
Together, every one of our 315 architects and designers are part of a collective dedication to the creation of distinct built environments that are sustainable, inclusive, and innovative.
Every year, Building Design surveys the world’s biggest architecture practices to create this annual industry report.
