Third award for bold yet humble design
This year will be a historic one for what has become one of our more high-profile (pun intended) projects. In its first full year of operation, the multifunctional facility has now claimed three top-tier awards for its bold yet subtle mountaintop design:
- The OAQ’s Award of Excellence, Public’s Choice (June)
- An Architecture MasterPrize Honorable Mention for Recreational Architecture (October)
- And, just now in December, the top prize in AN’s Best of Design Awards’ Commercial – Sport & Stadiums category.
“The chalet typology is a humble one, but we saw right away that it offered a tremendous opportunity to meld with the landscape,” said Eric Pelletier, senior partner and design principal.
