Sophisticated Art Deco design, a biodiverse planted roof, sumptuous terraces and pool are among the elements that swayed the jury set up by Quebec’s association of landscape architects, Val-Mar and Formes magazine.

The elegant condo tower in Montreal’s Golden Square Mile will also feature a verdant inner courtyard and architecture by Lemay.

“It was fascinating for us, as landscape architects, to take the dazzle of 1920s New York City and translate it into real-life luxury and sparkle in downtown Montreal,” said Patricia Lussier, associate and landscape architect.

“The forms, materials and signature furniture are all infused with the glamour of the Jazz Age.”
