Back in 2018, Lemay in consortium with JLP was contracted by the SQI to develop the hospital’s functional programming. Today, the JLP + MSDL + Lemay team, led by Pomerleau, is in charge of the project’s implementation.

The hospital is divided into two wings, the first holding the majority of the project’s ambulatory and support functions, as well as the auditorium, reception facilities and laboratories. The second wing, reaching up 12 floors, will house the majority of critical functions such as the emergency room, the operating bloc with 11 operating rooms, medical imaging, and a total of 404 beds in care units.

Aiming for a LEEDv4 BD+C: Healthcare certification once complete, this new health centre will contribute to shaping a better future for healthcare services in the Montérégie West region and serve as an example for the innovation that is possible when we take a human-centric approach to designing health facilities.
