On May 20th, Lemay invites you to take part in this Care+Design conversation, an evening of collective reflection on the future of healthcare infrastructure.

Starting at 5:00 PM, participants will be invited to explore a series of thematic stations, serving as a preamble to immerse themselves in the key issues and begin setting the stage for the discussions ahead.

At 6:00 PM, a solutions-oriented conversation will open, informed by complementary perspectives on the themes at the heart of the evening: moving beyond the hospital-centred model to envision a true care ecosystem rooted in its territory; approaching architecture as a lever for transforming practices and the care experience; and addressing the regeneration of existing infrastructure as an ecological, economic, and human imperative.

Four panellists with rarely combined areas of expertise will fuel the reflection:

  • Dr. Marie-Pascale Pomey, holder of a research chair on patient engagement in healthcare system transformation;
  • Dr. Fabrice Brunet, CEO of the Quartier de l’Innovation en Santé and former CEO of the CHUM;
  • Dr. Tamar Tembeck, art historian specializing in the visual cultures of illness and medicine;
  • Antoine Buisseret, OAQ, DPLG architect specializing in the design of care environments.

Voices in urbanism, sustainable strategies, and inclusive design will also contribute to the exchange.

The evening will take place on May 20, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:30 PM, at Le Phénix.
