For the Lemay and Atelier 21 teams, the preservation and renovation of the Grand Théâtre de Québec required a high degree of technical know-how, the success of which depended on a seamless collaboration of numerous experts: A balance of reflection and immateriality, the glass cage that envelops and creates a second life for Victor Prus’ brutalist work. This sensitive and delicate intervention allows present and future communities to both appreciate and benefit from this modern emblem.
